The Land of Barite Roses, is a mermaid state lying next to Morocco and Western Sahara. Its sea border ends near the Canary Islands.
Amelia describes the Land of Barite Roses as an oriental country filled with sandstone buildings, decorated with countless desert roses. Streets seem paved with mosaics, as in the Thousands Mosaics Square, which is famous for its market. Several merpeople buy there different oriental goods, and can bargain when doing so. Overall, the Land of Barite Roses seems to be a place bustling with life and color.
