Succulents are a perfect plant for beginners. They are easy to grow and thrive in most any environment. They can be planted in the ground, in containers, or even in seashells! There is no shortage of succulent garden ideas on the internet that you can use for inspiration. Here’s 10 Easy DIY Seashell Succulent Garden Ideas that I find both beautiful and original:
Seashell Succulent Garden Idea #1: Miniature Succulent Garden in a Shell
This garden, is very small; so small, I’m wondering, if you won’t need to plant it somewhere else, as it grows. Whatever the case, this tiny succulent surrounded by other decorative plant has an amazingly marine look.
Seashell Succulent Garden Idea #2: A thin-leaved agave plant in a banded tulip shell
Banded tulip shells make fantastic plant pots because they are spacious and have a large opening, letting the succulent grow without feeling restricted. Pay attention to how the moss, the starfish, and the wood bark create a marine effect!
Seashell Succulent Garden Idea #3: Thin-leaved succulents wrapped in dry palm leaves
These would look pretty cool even without being decorated with shells and sea-glass, but pay attention how these tiny details make these look more nautical!

This one looks awesome, but remember about what will happen once the succulent grows. If the plant pot is too small, your plant will end up growing outside of it, and then, taking care of it may be challenging.

These look like they’ve been taken right out of a mermaid kingdom and are my favorite in this list. These can turn any place into some sort of aquarium. Wow!!!

This idea, looks very intriguing, especially that the plants chosen resemble sea glass, and are curly. I’m wondering though if it’s healthy for a plant to grow upside down. Probably not. Not to mention other problems: how can you water these? And how do you prevent soil from falling out on the ground?
Seashell Succulent Garden Idea #9: Micro glass ball terrariums
Even though these aren’t real aquariums, they look like ones, probably because of the round, glass ball shape, pebbles, and colorful cacti. I really love these; such a small thing and yet it makes you happy!
Seashell Succulent Garden Idea #10: A driftwood tree with succulent terrariums
This one, looks like an advanced version of what you’ve just seen above; it definitely makes an effective decoration, but might take a lot of space. I think that this one may fit better into a shop with ready terrariums, rather than, a person’s house. Nevertheless, a really great sight!
