The Icosahedron Kingdom is a mermaid state that Amelia mentioned only occasionally. According to her, it was a region of Atlantis that lay east of the Azores, which should place it somewhere between Azores and Gibraltar.
It’s not clear from the description what were the reasons for which the Icosahedron Kingdom. It may have had something to do with Princess Samantha’s disappearance from Atlantis and general problems that Atlantis was facing. However, this is just the theory.
The only one thing that we can be sure of, is that Antemidia was partially responsible for the division. Amelia states that Antemidians made an intervention in favor of the Icosahedron Kingdom and that they supported the division.
