The Coral Sea can be found in the south-western part of the Pacific Ocean, quite close to Australia, New Guinea, New Caledonia, New Hebrides and the Solomon Islands. It’s closest neighbors are Solomon Sea (north), Tasman Sea (south) and Arafura Sea (west).
It hosts the Great Barried Reef and other wonderful coral formations. The climate in the zone, is mostly subtropical and the region seems plagued by frequent typhoons.
Mermaid Kingdom of the Coral Sea in “Mermaid Princess Amelia and the Lost Symphony”
The mermaid state located in the Coral Sea, is called the Coral Kingdom. According to Davika, it’s famous for its cheap products, that flood neighboring markets, ruining local economies of countries such as for example the Thai Pearl Empire. Apparently, not even trade union can change this situation.
It’s not known who’s the ruler of the Coral Kingdom. But hopefully, we can meet her in one of the next books by Maxine Foti.
Mermaid Kingdom of Thai Pearl Empire in “Stories from the Undersea World of Mermaid Princess Amelia, Vol. 2”
The Coral Sea is a rival mer-kingdom ruled by Allison’s father, who is also a successful businessman in Cairns, Australia, leading to their affluent lifestyle. This kingdom is technologically and economically aggressive, engaging in a relentless campaign to flood the market with cheap products, undermining the economies of its neighbors like the Thai Pearl Empire. The story reveals a darker side to this rivalry: scientists from the Coral Sea were secretly conducting experiments at an abandoned base in the Borneo Jungle, researching substances harmful to the Thai Pearl Empire’s pearl oysters in a deliberate act of economic sabotage. The mermaids of the Coral Sea, like Allison, are portrayed as confident and stylish, with Allison herself having an elegant pink snapper fish tail. Their culture has a significant presence on land, with Allison residing in a sprawling mansion with its own golf field.
