Mermaid Princess Amelia – Best Mermaid Book Series For Teenagers

When returning from Nerland to Portugal, Amelia mentions passing through the colonies belonging to the Balearic Sea and Lyon Bay, during one of her travels. She doesn’t mention anything about them, though, preoccupied with other things.

It’s important to know, though, that the Balearic Sea, actually makes part of the Mediterranean Sea, just like the Lyon Bay. They’re near Spain and France, hence, it’s tough to know what’s the language spoken there. Also, since the colonies are outside of the Mediterranean Sea, readers ask themselves whether mermaids from that kingdom didn’t travel through land, to the Atlantic Ocean. Those are only speculations, though.

The official colors of the Balearic Sea and Lyon Bay, seem to be green and golden. However, we don’t meet any representative of that state, hence, we don’t know what they might look like.

The Balearic Sea and Lyon Bay’s ruler, Ailish Giomach, was part of the KAVEM Union and owned some territory in the Sargasso Sea. After Ailish died in the Mausoleum of Lost Symphonies, it’s unclear who’s her descendant and ruler of the country.
