Silas and his brother Augustus are thrown into the pit for treason—specifically, for opposing their family’s direction and the war against Icosahedron.
Amelia rescues Silas from the pit, descending further into the prison to find him being whipped by a guardian who demands he confess to treason. Portia distracts the guardian while Amelia rescues Silas, hiding him in a ceiling space before they escape. At the clinic, Augustus tends to Silas’s wounds, revealing the depth of their bond.
Silas’s relationship with Samantha is strained. He and Augustus oppose the war, while Samantha has become as corrupt as their stepbrothers Dominic and Dorian. Despite this, Silas still loves his sister. When Samantha collapses after Delphina is expelled, Silas confirms she isn’t dead and helps gather red algae to wake her. He also reveals that the mechanism to raise Atlantis is based on Antemidian design, and the key to stopping it lies in Antemidia’s secret initiations—a crucial piece of information that guides the final actions. Silas is a healer who has been forced to fight, a brother who has been rejected by his own sister, and a survivor who clings to hope even in the darkest circumstances. His rescue from the pit and his subsequent role in the final confrontation cement him as a minor but significant ally.
