Sea Glass and Turquoise Mermaid Bracelet (DIY Mermaid Craft Ideas For Girls Who Love Sea Decor)

Written by Mermaid Olivia

Sea-themed jewelry is always in, and today, I’m bringing you a simple tutorial on how to make a mermaid bracelet.

I’ve chosen beads that look like sea glass and turquoise, because, I was inspired by “Mermaid Princess Amelia and the Lost Symphony.” Turquoises have been favorite gems of Egyptian pharaohs and mermaids of the Lotus State and the Turquoise Ravines. Meanwhile, sea glass represents Antemidia and the majestic, translucent palace of Atanga.

To make a bracelet, you will need some thin, elastic thread, a needle, and beads. They are not very expensive, unless, you get very fancy pieces.

Before you start making your bracelet, think for a moment about the design that you want to make. You can alternate between transparent and blue beads, make the bracelet of a single color and place in the center a larger bead of opposite color, invent your own patterns… You can also adorn  your mermaid bracelet with sea-themed charms, e.g. little starfishes or dolphins.

Once you’ve made a decision, it’s time to start stringing beads and charms. Be careful not to let them slide down off the thread’s edge! If it happens all the time and annoys you, make sure to tie a big knot at the end of the thread. You may need to make multiple knots. You can also cut out a small piece of paper and pierce it with the needle to put it at the beginning of the bracelet. It will prevent beads from sliding off, and you can always tear it away.

Also, make sure to check if the bracelet fits your wrist and isn’t too big. If you made it too big, no worries! You can use it as a necklace.

Once you’re done, tie the ends together, and cut off any unnecessary threads. Voila!
