Sending messages in bottles is often seen in books, movies and tv about sailors, captains and pirates. As a last resort, the bottle with the letter inside is thrown into the ocean in search of hope, help or comfort.
A message in a bottle can quickly improve nautical vibes of your room – and it’s incredibly easy to make! All you need is a glass bottle with a cork and some paper – if it is brown, opaque or thick, great: you want your letter to convey the appearance of a message that has traveled a long time in the seas to its final destination. A bit of green paint carefully spread around the bottle can give the impression of seaweed, increasing the effect.
You can use these bottles in a thousand ways: for inviting friends to birthday parties or events, as surprise gifts… They are also perfect for exchanging fun messages, especially in the summer; messages such as letters from different mermaid kingdoms described in “Mermaid Princess Amelia and the Lost Symphony.” You can also download Lumina’s letter to Tikalie, write your own version of it, and place it into the bottle.
Don’t throw it into the sea, though! The sea will need 20-50 years to turn your bottle into sea glass. Be ecological and keep your message in the bottle at home!
Last but not least, you can put a love letter in your bottle, a cooking recipe, or use it for a treasure hunt game. Such as simple thing and you can do so much with it!
