Mermaid Princess Amelia – Best Mermaid Book Series For Teenagers

Vera is the ruler of Moonstone Queendom, located in the Danube River, Hungary.

She was friends with Kamon Thani, Ailish Giomach, Estella Santoro and Marzia Mond. Together, the five friends owned KAVEM District (a territory in the Sargasso Sea).

When Marzia Mond had an extramarital baby with Adavan Vega, she gave it to her best friend Vera, who went on a long journey to Antemidia, to leave the baby with her father, Adavan, who was absent from court at the time. However, she was distracted, and lost the baby on the way. Fortunately, the baby was found by Alisha Quintana. The baby probably had a name and birthday tag, as later, Amelia comments on her aunt knowing her name and birthday.

It’s not known, how losing the baby affected Vera and Marzia’s friendship. But it’s highly likely, Marzia was upset. Nevertheless, as she had problems with her first daughter, Lumina, she called all five friends for help. Adavan wasn’t invited, but swam after them.

Together, they went to the Mausoleum of Lost Symphonies, to look for power. In the Mausoleum, kamon, Ailish, Estella and Marzia died, while Adavan was imprisoned. Vera was the only one, who managed to escape, and as such, she didn’t receive a post-mortem portrait.

Later, she contacted Lumina, who decided to avenge her mother. Vera didn’t have a map leading to the Mausoleum (or coordinates), so Lumina needed to find artifacts on her own.
