
Lana Lanorth in “Mermaid Princess Amelia and the Lost Symphony”
Lana Lanorth is mentioned as the older princess of the Bermuda Triangle, and Lara Lanorth’s older sister.
As such, she’s the first daughter of Larimara Lanorth and also, the older sister of Lara Lanorth. The two girls don’t have a close relationship, though. Lara nearly never mentions her older sister.

Lara Lanorth is a side character in the story titled “Princesses, Pirates, Traitors” from the “Stories from the Undersea World of Mermaid Princess Amelia, Vol. 2” by Maxine Foti.
Lara’s older sister, who is twelve years older at the start of the story (around 24). She is the First Crystal of the Bermuda Triangle and acts as the responsible, protective elder sibling.
Lana is more mature, diplomatic, and concerned with royal duties and decorum.
She is fiercely protective of her family, especially her cousin Finn, and is wary of anyone who might hurt him.
Lana has a complicated past; she secretly dated the pirate Sherron but ended the relationship due to his controlling nature and their cultural differences.
She is naturally passive and submissive in relationships, which she struggles with.
Despite her disapproval of Lara’s pirate fascination, she deeply cares for her sister. She is pragmatic and willing to seek help from her ex-lover Sherron for the good of her family.
In the story, a minor character advises Lana on unifying the country’s language is the Royal Linguist and Translator of Foreign Languages of the Bermuda Triangle. He suggests adopting a single primary language, with others considered dialects, to foster unity. He is thoughtful and measured in his responses.
