Ivory Coast is a West African country located on the Gulf of Guinea. It has a long coastline and is home to some of the most diverse marine species in Africa: fish, crustaceans, mollusks, and other aquatic creatures. The sea also serve as important breeding grounds for many migratory birds that come to the region during certain times of the year.
In “Stories from the Undersea World of Mermaid Princess Amelia, Vol. 1,” there’s a character named Moussa De La Mer, who’s from the Ivory Coast. He’s a globetrotter and trader. Sawa Zielinska met him through the mermaids’ underground in Santa Ana, as she was looking for someone who would sell her books for her antique bookshop.
