Mermaid Kingdom of Suramyan Seas in “Stories from the Undersea World of Mermaid Princess Amelia, Vol. 1”
Suramyan Seas are a fictional mermaid state from the “Stories from the Undersea World of Mermaid Princess Amelia, Vol. 1.” Suramyan Seas are located northwest of the Honey Earth. Very little is known about this place, except that the aunt of Jet Mir Thakur, Shanaya Mia Khanda-Madhu, tried to persuade Jet Mir to move there (probably to study). The state’s name was derived from Sanskrit’s word “suramya” meaning “beautiful.”

The Suramyan Seas, the original homeland of the spy Rui Shan, is described as an exotic and distant locale. The merpeople would be known for their captivating, seductive performances, combining the fluidity of water with the intricate, expressive movements of classical dance forms from those regions. It is a land of mystery, allure, and dangerous passions.
