Shah Parviz Hatim is a character from Mermaid Princess Amelia fantasy series by Maxine Foti. He made his first appearance in the “Stories from the Undersea World of Mermaid Princess Amelia.”
Shah Parviz Hatim is the current ruler of Delshad. He lives in the capital, Jowhar, together with his wife, Mrs. Hatim, and the rest of his family (except his oldest daughter Roshanara Hatim-Sharma, who moved to the Atman Kingdom).
He is a tall and athletic merman with a thick moustache and beard. Like most merpeople from Delshad, he has characteristical light blue eyes, and a coral red tail. He’s typically sean wearing royal robes suitable to his role.
Shah Parviz is likely one of the most masculine characters from the whole Mermaid Princess Amelia fantasy series. Strong, decisive, protective, and with a penchant for order, Shah Parviz is a powerful and respected ruler, as well as a faithful husband, and caring father. He deeply loved his daughters, and made sure that they lacked nothing.
When Saliffa asked her father to let her study mathematics in Madinat Alqamar, Lihirient, he agreed, wanting his daughter to live her dreams and be happy. However, he was forced to change his mind, after hearing that the situation in Lihirient, was turbulent. Saliffa didn’t understand that, and in a fit of anger, she reordered all the things in his office, causing him to be very mad.
Despite this, Shah Parviz didn’t change his mind. When Saliffa learned that he wanted her to marry Ehsan Kaspian from the Caspian Sea, she got even more mad. However, her annoyance subsided once she met Ehsan.
