Mermaid Princess Amelia – Best Mermaid Book Series For Teenagers

Lohita Mia Madhu is a character from Mermaid Princess Amelia fantasy series by Maxine Foti. She made her first appearance in the “Stories from the Undersea World of Mermaid Princess Amelia.”

Lohita Mia is an adult mermaid from Honey Earth. Her looks weren’t described but like most merpeople from Honey Earth, she has light brown skin and a golden tail.

Lohita Mia was the wife of the great maharaja Shri Mir Madhu (Jet Mir Thakur’s uncle), and as such, she was the second queen of the Honey Earth (the first was the maharaja’s sister, Jaya Mia Madhu-Thakur – Jet Mir’s mother).

Lohita Mia and her husband Shri Mir had one child, Lipika Mia Madhu, who was supposed to be heiress to the Honey Earth’s throne, together with her first cousin Jet Mir Thakur.

However, Shri Mir Madhu wasn’t faithful to his wife, he regularly visited the harem, and had two children with his mistress, former slum dweller Shanaya Khanda. Those children were Sha Mir Madhu and Shafia Mia Madhu.

Because of his mistress, he decided to break his marriage with Lohita Mia. As a result, Lohita Mia and Lipika Mia had to leave the Honey Earth. The two moved to Ninad Kingdom.

Jet Mir’s mother, Jaya Mia Madhu, was appalled by what happened, and angry at her brother for choosing Shanaya over Lohita Mia, whom she liked and respected. Lohita Mia was heartbroken, too, and she said, she considered the whole situation a disgrace.

Lohita’s name means “ruby.”
