Monte Alcantara is a character from Mermaid Princess Amelia fantasy series by Maxine Foti. He made his first appearance in “Stories from the Undersea World of Mermaid Princess Amelia.”
Monte Alcantara is the older brother of Tony Alcantara. Just like Tony, he worked at the royal palace in Atanga, Antemidia, and took care of the materials. It’s not clear whether he still works there or if he was eventually replaced by his younger brother.
Monte doesn’t appear in “‘Mermaid Princess Amelia and the Lost Symphony.” However, because Tony doesn’t mention anything bad happening to his brother to Amelia, after they reunite, it’s safe to assume that he didn’t get hurt in the earthquake and is still alive and well.

A palace assistant briefly mentioned by Tony. When Tony informed Alissa that the materials for new uniforms had arrived, he noted that Monte needed help sorting them, suggesting Monte is a fellow attendant or servant in the palace.
