Who said that mermaids can only swim? In this article, you will find five characters from “Mermaid Princess Amelia and the Lost Symphony,” who love spending time actively – out of the water!
AMELIA QUINTANA
It is no news that the novel’s titular protagonist, Amelia Quintana, loves everything and anything that has to do with sports! Especially punching and kicking! While in Antemidia, she trained the Antemidian Striking Art. Then, after moving to Santa Ana, she joined the local karate team. She spent most of her free time at the dojo, which made Lara insinuate that she had a crush on her karate partner, Taisuke.
GREENE GRANT
Amelia is not the only girl who loves to fight, in this novel! Although Greene is passionate about cooking and everything related to food, she is another character very much interested in Kung Fu, which she has probably learned back in her country of origin, East China Sea.
CRISTOVAO ORTA
Cristovao is introduced to us when Amelia resumes training at the karate dojo in Santa Ana. It is revealed that he spends most of his time at the dojo and is the most talented student in it. This was proven when he won a fight against Taisuke, in the novel.
JAYDEN KATHAROS
Jayden also likes karate, and he belongs to Sensei Michel’s dojo too. But, martial arts aren’t his only hobby! Apart from karate, he loves motorbike racing. When Amelia asks him to accompany her to the Jade Dragon, Jayden tells her that he has to participate in a motorbike race on that day. This shows that he really loves motorbike racing!
NUBIA KHALED
Nubia is the highest representative and the highest priestess of the Lotus State. She is also a high school student in Santa Ana. She is always busy with her country’s matters, so she doesn’t have much free time, but when she does, she goes jogging. She has lots of different routes, one leading from the beach to the haunted villa on the escarpment.
This is it! As you can see, these characters enjoy doing things they love whenever they are less busy. Once you finish read the book, make sure to come back to this article, and answer our question: are there some other characters that deserve to be on the list? We’re curious to hear your voices!
