The Argolic Gulf is located in the southeastern part of the Aegean Sea, which connects to the Mediterranean Sea dividing South Europe from North Africa.
In “Mermaid Princess Amelia and the Lost Symphony,” we learn that there’s a small state there, represented by a mermaid named Poseyda Eos.
Amelia states that Greek mermaids are perceived by many as inconsiderate, because they didn’t keep their identity secret, flirting and seducing humans. Later, though, she comments that if all mermaids had been open about their nature, now nobody would need to hide. This would help humans with different tasks such as fishing, saving drowning people, helping ships, and so on.
It’s not clear what merpeople from Argolic Gulf look like, but judging from Poseyda’s looks, their main hair and tail color is lemon green. Poseyda suffers greatly because of her fuchsia eyes and strands, which means that they are quite uncommon in her state.
