Okeanos Madianis is a character from Mermaid Princess Amelia fantasy series by Maxine Foti. He made his first appearance in the “Stories from the Undersea World of Mermaid Princess Amelia.”
Mr. Madianis is a merman from the Argolic Gulf. He was described as a dark-haired merman with deeply set eyes and a malocclusion.
He works as a physical education teacher in the sports school but is also the leader of his gulf’s teachers’ union. Due to the pressure exerted by other teachers, and his personal unhappiness, he eventually started teachers’ strike.
The strike later created strife between his son, Vasilakis Madianis, and his could-ve-been love interest, Poseyda Eos – and that because Poseyda’s mother, Leukothea Eos, was in charge of the gulf’s school board, and trying to stop the strike.
