Leukothea Eos is a character from Mermaid Princess Amelia fantasy series by Maxine Foti. She made her first appearance in the “Stories from the Undersea World of Mermaid Princess Amelia.”
Leukothea Eos is an adult mermaid from Argolic Gulf, and the mother of Poseyda Eos.
She is a beautiful blonde woman with light blue eyes and a lime green tail. She doesn’t have purple hair strands like Poseyda, which means that Poseyda must have inherited them from another family member.
Mrs. Eos is actively engaged in her city’s politics. She is also in charge of its school board. In “Stories from the Undersea World of Mermaid Princess Amelia,” she was seen preparing for the elections. However, she probably lost them due to the teachers’ strike organized by Mr. Madianis.
Even though Poseyda had a crush on Mr. Madianis’ son, Vasilakis, she vehemently protected her mother’s opinions during their argument. This shows, she was very attached to her mother.
Mrs. Eos was a great mother figure. She always strived to be fair and objective. She didn’t punish her daughter for leaving her high school on Skip Class Day, but she did criticize her for mindlessly following the crowd. When Poseyda admitted it was her idea because she wanted to see Vasilakis, Mrs. Eos told her she could do that after school. Ashamed of her behavior, Poseyda apologized and promised she’d do better.
