This project is a tad bit difficult, so, if you like challenges and want to test your DIY skills, here are these fishnet bags, eco-friendly to fish and the rest of the underwater life.
You will need a few pieces of mesh fabric, scissors, thread, pins and an elastic cord (the drawstring). You can your fishnet bag any size you want but a 52×42 base would be perfect. Start by making small folds of half a centimeter on three of the four sides of the fabric, leaving one of the 52 centimeter spaces free.
The next thing to do is to join the two ends of the mesh together and sew the seams along the edges, sewing first in the space where we didn’t make the fold in the first place. The pins will be useful to keep the fabric firm and fastened as you sew.
Next, turn the bag inside out, leaving the stitches facing in, and sew along the ends, leaving a space of several centimeters before reaching the other end.
It will be in this space where you will fold the fabric, leaving enough space to insert the drawstring after sewing the two ends.
You can also use a sewing machine to make a bag like the one shown on photos below, but that will be much more challenging, so we opted for a simpler option.
