“Stories from the Undersea World of Mermaid Princess Amelia, Vol. 1,” is a fictional work set in a hyperrealistic world. This means that even though there are many fantastical elements included, the world draws plenty from ours, as well – especially modern cultures and ancient civilizations.
The author did her best to write every single story in a spirit of openness and respect. When asked why she’d write a book like that, the author replied: “It’s just fiction, and fiction needs to surprise, shock and evoke emotions to be entertaining. Don’t take it too seriously!”

First and foremost, the collection was written for the greatest fans of Mermaid Princess Amelia fantasy series, so that they can get to know their favorite characters better, and finally visit the mermaid kingdoms that they’ve been so curious about.
But, it is also meant for everyone who loves mermaid fiction, and wants something more than the classical mermaid-meets-human type of story. If you are looking forward to get submerged in a well-built, underwater world bustling with life, this collection will surely be a perfect fit for you. It’s so rich, and filled with so many characters and subplots, everyone will find something in it that they can fall in love with. Whether you are looking for romance, drama, adventure, action or mystery, you will be satisfied.
And last but not least, the collection is also a wonderful fit for anybody who just wants to bring color (and abundance!) to their grey life, and who wants to travel and live incredible adventures but can’t really allow themselves to go anywhere at the moment.
